Gaines V Jackson

On November 21, 2003, making her pro debut at the Beaumont Club in Kansas City MO, Gaines faced Jackson.  Jackson came in well over the weight limit at 138 pounds.  Gaines, 124 pounds, chose to fight anyway and had no problem getting the victory over Jackson.  Although both fighters were very leg-weary in the fourth round, Gaines showed a lot of promise as an upcoming fighter on the scene.
